Tejas Savalia

Hello! I’m a Postdoc at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. I work in the Division of Brain and Cognitive Health Technologies with Dr. Laura Germine. Here, I apply cognitive computational models to data collected via high-frequency sampling methods to derive insights into cognition and its relationship with psychopathology. Previously, I was a postdoc at LumenLab on the neural and computational mechanisms underling emotion and motivation and their effect on statistical learning and memory. I use neuroimaging and behavioral experiments with computational modeling to understand how we extract and store patterns around us. I get excited by inferential statistics and simulations. In my free time, I like to read and play boardgames.
